Inter IIT Tech Meet is the annual technological competition organized by the
Indian Institutes of Technology and qualifies as the only technical event
wherein all the IITs participate. This event is hosted in cycle by one of the
participating institutions.
The Inter IIT Tech Meet saw its humble beginning in 2012 at IIT Kanpur as
Pan IIT Student Initiative and now has grown into an annual meet approved
by IIT Council. The previous edition of the meet was hosted by IIT Kharagpur. Primarily the Inter IIT would have
collaborative events targeting networking and knowledge sharing and
competitive events which fuel innovative work with given constraints to
meet the mission and vision of Tech Meet.
IIT Kanpur will host the 11th Inter IIT Tech Meet in January 2023. The 3 day meet will see the best minds from the 23 IITs come
together to find feasible solutions to real-life industry problems offered by bigwigs
such as DRDO SASE, BITGRIT Japan and The Ashoka Foundation.
